A gift for those in crisis: Practical mould testing and my journey of reversing MS symptoms through the medicine of the soul.
How to test for mold and how I reversed early MS symptoms naturally
In the Buddhist tradition of sending gifts from the heart daily, from my heart to yours—with my daily meditation of loving kindness—I want to give you this resource for Heart Week on Trauma Talk Tuesday.
A note from my heart:
I am not a doctor. I am a clairaudient root cause healer and a Buddhist Biohacker who has never used pharmaceutical medications in 40 years.
I had to pretend I did with some doctors or else they wouldn’t take me on as a patient. But if it harmed my liver, I wouldn’t take it because I drank for 30 years and I knew it would cause my body too much harm.
I am a survivor who has learned to listen to the whispers of the body before they become screams. I share this as a guide for those who are sober, holistic and honour their body and soul as a temple.
The Leaky Body: Why We Can’t Heal in the Environment That Made Us Sick
From Strength to the Breaking Point
I am writing this today for a member of our Sangha whose daughter is navigating the heavy shadows of MS.
I have shared deeply about the root causes behind the terrifying rise of panic attacks and MS over the past two years and I share this now because I have walked that same lonely, scary path.
Several weeks before the slow crash, I was still lifting a 50lb kettle bell. I was a personal trainer and a lover of building muscle to protect the peace in my bones.
I was a woman who never even had a cold. But after my third bout with COVID and a huge 3rd betrayal from someone I love, my body finally reached its breaking point.
I reached a place where I couldn’t lift myself out of the tub; I couldn’t even get out of my own bed. I couldn’t swallow and I was choking in my sleep. I couldn’t write, type or even find the strength to open a jar.
At 57, my body had reached the limit of being a petrified, parentified, perfectionist people-pleaser.
I was a “permasmile” loving soul, pouring into others who couldn’t say “I love you” back because they didn’t love themselves.
I was leading a life of love and service with no time left for myself at the end of the day. I was working three jobs, raising my son on my own and pushing my body on little fuel because of constant digestive distress.
I was doing everything to age well, but I was pushing through the pain of a Leaky Body. I finally realized:
We can’t heal in the same environment that is making us sick.
We are the ones who never had time to stretch after a workout as the go go type A’s. This causes constant stress to our cells since birth for the first born daughter and son. This leads to chronic dis-ease and chronic conditions.
The insomina, pain, bloated belly, digestive and mental distress with food fears and living in the bathroom. I wouldn’t even take a job if the bathroom wasn’t close. I could never eat and work. I would eat after work if I could because funds were tight and my son got fed first.
Just several weeks before the slow crash, I was still lifting a 50lb kettle bell. I was strong; I was someone who never even had a cold.
I found myself leaning on a cane, staring down a future of total physical collapse and wondering if my body had simply given up on me.
But it wasn’t just “the virus.” It was the “overhead.” It was a body so overfed with toxins and environmental weight that it could no longer hold itself up.
What I discovered is that we live in an overfed society—overfed with toxins, blue light, stress and chemicals. For those of us who are high sensing souls with a “Leaky Body” our environment becomes a minefield.
Please share this with anyone you know who is suffering mentally. For years, I thought my struggles were just “in my head,” but it was environmental all along. When your brain is on fire from mould, it looks like anxiety; when your liver & brain is bogged down by toxins, it looks like depression and insomnia.
1. How to Test Your Home
Hidden Signs Your Home is “Sick”
The “Window Sweat”: Persistent condensation on the inside of your windows in the morning. This means your indoor humidity is too high, creating a greenhouse for mould.
Sticking Doors and Windows: If a door or window suddenly becomes hard to open or close, the wood frame may have swollen from hidden moisture in the walls.
The “Static Shock” Test: In a mouldy home, the air often feels “charged.” If you are getting frequent static shocks or feel a “buzzing” in your nervous system when you enter a room, the building’s electrical and moisture balance is off.
The “Flashlight Angle” Trick: Shine a flashlight sideways against a wall or floor (low to the ground). This reveals “bubbling” or warping in the paint or floorboards that you can’t see looking straight on.
White “Ghost” Powder (Efflorescence): On brick or concrete basement walls, look for a white, salty powder. This is a sign that water is pushing through the foundation—where water goes, mould follows.
The “Drip” in the Walls: Listen at night when the house is quiet. If you hear a rhythmic ticking or faint dripping sound behind a wall, you likely have a “pinhole leak” that is feeding a mould colony you can’t see yet.
Insects as “Scouts”: If you see a sudden increase in silverfish, centipedes, or “dust mites,” they are often there because they eat mould and thrive in the same damp conditions.
How Your Body “Tests” the Air
For those of us with a “Leaky Body” our biology is the most sensitive test. Watch for these “Immediate Reactions” when you walk into a room:
The Metallic Taste: A sudden “copper” or metallic taste in the mouth.
The Brain “Glitch”: Suddenly forgetting what you were doing or struggling to find simple words. Forgetting what you watched the day before.
Watch your Tongue. If it’s coated white, your internal ‘neighbourhood’ is under attack. That white film is your body’s way of showing you the fungal load it’s carrying from a sick environment. Combined with a metallic taste, it’s a clear signal: your bucket is full.
The “Internal Hum”: A feeling of vibrating or “pins and needles” on the skin.
The Instant Sinus Pressure: A sharp pain behind the eyes or a “thick” feeling in the throat within 10 minutes of entry.
The Frugal Way ($0–$50): Use a high-powered flashlight to check under every sink and the HVAC intake. Buy a Moisture Meter ($30) from a hardware store to check if walls are damp behind the surface.
If the walls are wet, mould is growing inside them.
Avoid cheap DIY petri dishes; they are often inaccurate. The Comprehensive Way ($250+): Use an ERMI (Environmental Relative Moldiness Index) test. This uses DNA testing on dust to identify toxic moulds. If you hire a pro, ensure they use thermal imaging. Avoid anyone who only does “air spore traps”—those tests often miss the heavy toxins that settle in your carpets.
2. Sick Building Syndrome vs. Mould Illness (CIRS)
There is a massive difference between a “bad building” and a “primed” body.
Sick Building Syndrome: You feel sick only when you are in a specific building and you feel better shortly after leaving.
Mould Illness (CIRS): This is systemic. Your body has been “primed” by a major exposure. Now, your “bucket” is full. You don’t just get sick in one building; you react to the gym, the hospital and even the air outside.
3. The Protocol: The BodhiBerry Peace Tree Method
When you are in a crisis you must hit the pause button to heal. The greatest gift you can give yourself is the love you are giving to others—pour it into yourself first. You cannot outrun your trauma. You must pause.
Fast in Crisis: In an overfed society we must stop the intake. I am now an OMAD (One Meal A Day) eater with a three-day fast once a month if symptoms arise. When I was in crisis I fasted for three weeks on water only with 1/4 tsp of baking soda because my body was dangerously acidic. Fasting triggers autophagy, allowing your immune system to stop digesting and start focusing on deep cellular repair.
Alkalize the System: We are often too acidic when we are sick. I used 1/4 tsp of baking soda in water daily for three months to shift my pH.
Sanitized Water Only: No plastic bottles. Use glass or stainless steel only. The best water is Distilled or Reverse Osmosis that has been remineralized.
Emotional Detox: Cry as much as you need to while you detox in bed. Destressing is medicine.
The Healing Space: You need red light, cold therapy, an infrared sauna blanket and a grounding mat to reset your nervous system. These are all found in our Amazon Zen Den linked below.
Gentle Binding: Once stabilized, use binders like activated charcoal and medicinal teas. We rebuild the microbiome slowly to ensure we do not harm the liver.
The Alchemy of the Fast: Supporting the Soul’s House
While we fast to trigger autophagy—allowing our bodies to eat the “trash” of our illness—we must support the exit routes. In my Amazon Zen Den I’ve curated the exact tools I used to survive the crash.
The BodhiBerry Recovery Suite: Resetting the Nervous System
When the body is in a state of “static” from environmental toxins and trauma, we must use tools that speak the language of the cells. I use these targeted allies to drain my “bucket” and rebuild my energy from the ground up:
The Grounding Mat: I use this to literally pull the static and electrical “buzzing” out of my nervous system. It anchors my body back to the earth’s frequency so my heart can find its rhythm again.
Red Light Therapy: This is how I heal my mitochondria. It provides the cellular fuel my body needs to repair the damage and clear the “brain glitch” that mould left behind.
The Infrared Sauna Blanket: This is my deep detox tool. It allows me to sweat out the heavy metals and toxins from the inside out without the stress of a public gym environment.
Combined with the BodhiBerry Peace Tree Method, these tools changed everything. They aren’t just gadgets; they are the sanctuary my body needed to stop screaming and start healing.
I also use these targeted allies, there are more staples that will be in your book, coming soon.
Binders: Charcoal and clay to catch the toxins before they hit your brain.
The Holy Trinity: Vitamin D (7-10k IUs), K2 to drive calcium into the bones and Magnesium to calm the petrified heart.
High-Dose Vitamin C: To rebuild the collagen in your “leaky” tissues.
Note: Always listen to your body’s whisper. If a supplement makes you feel worse, your “bucket” is full—back off, cry, rest and try again when the fire has lowered.
Supplements = Support but Fasting/Environment = The Cure.
I will never step foot in a gym again because the air could kill me. If we catch these things early—especially with conditions like MS—we have a chance to drain the “bucket” and live again.
It might be the air for you too.

We have had some new members join our Sangha so I thought I would reintroduce myself ;) and below is a reminder of your letter for your doctor and what tests you need.
Meet Momma Lovey Dee
I am a life lover who thrives on the challenge of solo sports. I excel in the balance of short and long twitch muscle—training my body to be both explosive and enduring. But my true strength lies in what I can hear and sense beyond the physical.
As a Clairaudient Root Cause Healer and Human Health Detective I listen to the whispers of the body that others miss. I am an Animal Whisperer who understands that all sentient living beings speak a language of energy and frequency.
I don't just look at symptoms. I look for the truth.
Whether I am biohacking my own recovery or "Mothering the Unmothered" in our Sangha my mission is the same: to help you drain your "toxic bucket" and find deep inner peace in your bones.
I am a Buddhist Biohacker who believes that you are the medicine.
