🌀 Day 34 of 40 – Leaky Sweat Glands ⚡ Odour Changes & Detox Flow
“You’re not dirty, unkempt or wrong — your sweat is your body’s sacred river trying to cleanse you.”
~ De-Stress With Dee
💭 Did you know?
Your sweat glands are part of your body’s detox system.
They don’t just cool you down — they help remove waste, balance temperature and signal inflammation.
Stress, inflammation, mould mycotoxins, toxic products and stagnant lymph can all disrupt how you sweat.
Sometimes that means over-sweating, under-sweating, or changes in odour.
✨ My Sweat Gland Story:
I’m a personal trainer who doesn’t use deodorant.
I shower once a week, and my earth age is 58.5 — but my inner age is 41.
And let me tell you: I was the pits every morning during my autophagy routine!
That morning stink wasn’t random — it was my body clearing out metabolic waste while fasting.
If I get stinky, I use castor oil on my pits.
It soothes inflammation, supports lymphatic flow, and naturally reduces odour.
I also noticed when my armpits felt puffy, it meant my lymph was stagnant and not flowing.
Commercial deodorants often contain toxic chemicals that clog pores, inflame lymph nodes and add to the body’s toxic load.
I haven’t used deodorant in 10 years — and my body is happier for it.
🌿 Signs Your Sweat Glands Might Be “Leaky” or Overloaded:
• Sudden strong or unusual body odour
• Over-sweating even at rest or at night
• Under-sweating or dry skin when hot
• Puffy, tender armpits or lymph nodes
• Rashes, itchiness, or irritation in armpits
😣 What No One Explained to Me:
• Sweat isn’t gross — it’s your body’s built-in detox
• Puffy pits = lymph congestion
• Toxic deodorant can make things worse
• Diet, stress and mould exposure can change body odour
• Your body’s flow needs to be respected, not suppressed
💡 What I Now Understand:
• My stink wasn’t shameful — it was a sign I was detoxing
• Puffy pits weren’t random — they needed movement and care
• My body was asking me to work with it, not fight it
• Simplicity and natural care were powerful medicine
🧠 What My Sweat Was Trying to Say:
• “I’m not dirty — I’m detoxing”
• “I’m not embarrassing — I’m releasing”
• “I’m not gross — I’m flowing”
• “Please don’t block me — help me move”
🌿 Sweat Gland–Supporting Rituals That Helped Me:
• Dry brushing toward lymph nodes before bathing
• Gentle movement or rebounding to support lymph flow
• Using castor oil packs or applying castor oil to pits
• Staying hydrated to dilute and flush toxins
• Avoiding synthetic deodorants and choosing natural options (or going without!)
• Loving self-talk: “My body knows how to cleanse.”
🕊️ You’re not too much. You’re not unclean.
You’re a sacred river of life, flowing out what no longer serves you.
With clear pores and compassionate care,

🧖♀️ Dry Brushing for Lymph Flow
Before your bath or shower, use a soft natural brush
Stroke gently toward your armpits and collarbones
💬 “I clear what no longer serves me.”
🌿 Castor Oil Ritual
Massage castor oil onto your armpits if they feel puffy, hot or tender
Leave on 15–30 minutes before showering or overnight if comfortable
💬 “I soothe, soften and release.”
🌊 Stay Hydrated

🏃 Gentle Movement for Lymph Activation
Rebounding (mini-trampoline), walking or light stretching daily
Even 5–10 minutes helps your lymph system pump

🌬️ Deep Breathing & Emotional Release
Slow exhale breathwork helps your nervous system relax so lymph can flow
