A note, if this is in your promotions tab or spam, hit the star above and it will land in your inbox next time :)
Did you know chronic stress and hidden toxins in our environments and tissues are often the root of disease?
They fuel chronic inflammation, disrupt our microbiome and over time create burnout, anxiety, depression and gutābrain disorders like IBS and even āleaky brain.ā
Hereās what Iāve learned on my healing path:
⨠The way to mental peace is learning to let go through non-attachment
⨠The way to ease dis-ease is to detox the toxinsāboth from our bodies and our environments
⨠The way to deep soul peace is to pause, breathe and protect your C-PTSD peace with daily soul care rituals
Because trauma and toxins hide in our tissues⦠but poop keeps the receipts.
šæ Inner Peace = Outer Peace = World Peace šæ
My mission is peace on earth.
But I know it begins within me and you.
We all need to do our part to be part of the solution for Peace on Earth.
Share in the comments what you are doing to protect your peace each day?
Protecting my own C-PTSD peace allows me to live sober, mindful and aligned.
When I care for my body with simplicity, Iām not just healing myselfāIām planting seeds of peace in the world.
Alcohol, soda and sugar may numb us for a moment but theyāre toxic for the microbiome.
That toxicity shows up as IBS, restless sleep, mood swings, anxiety and brain fog.
Over time it becomes burnout, despair and disconnection.
But there is another way.
One that doesnāt require meds or expensive hacks.
Just Mother Nature, mindful nourishment and daily soul care.
š A Sangha for Peace Seekers
On this International Day of Peace,
Together we are learning how to:
š± Stop hurting our body, brain and being
š± Release trauma and toxins
š± Live a life of deep inner peaceāsober, serene and unafraid
If youāve carried addictions, childhood trauma, mental health struggles or the weight of menopause, know this:
healing is possible.
It begins with detoxing dis-ease, protecting your peace and rememberingā
š The only person who can truly take care of you is you.
šš Closing Reflection
This International Day of Peace arrives just as the season turnsāthe fall equinox reminding us of balance, letting go and beginning anew.
Take a moment to pause.
Place your hand on your heart and whisper:
⨠āI am love. I am peace. I am safe.ā š
Because if not now, when?
When your body is whispering for you to pauseālet this be your sign.
When we listen, when we rest, when we nurture ourselvesāwe plant seeds of peace within. And inner peace is what ripples outward to create outer peace and ultimately world peace.

š± How to Live in Peace in a Toxic World
Peace isnāt something we stumble uponāitās something we intentionally protect. For me, living with C-PTSD and healing from mold illness, trauma and chronic inflammation, Iāve learned that peace begins with how we care for our body, our home and our relationships.
Here are the practices that help me detox, restore and live in peace in a toxic world:
1. Detox Toxins from Body & Tissues
Gentle fasting & hydration ā giving the body space to heal naturally
Liver support through sleep ā your liver detoxifies most efficiently at night. Protect your bedtime like sacred space
Sweat & movement ā dancing, stretching or moving daily releases toxins from tissues
2. Restore the Microbiome š±
25+ plant foods a week ā diversity is key, fibre feeds the good bacteria
Fermented foods ā sauerkraut, kimchi, kefir add live probiotics
Probiotics & supplements ā multi-strain support helps reset balance
3. Ditch Toxins We Put In
Say no to alcohol, soda & processed sugar ā they inflame and age us
Choose clean personal care ā skin absorbs what we put on it
Filter water & air ā lungs, kidneys and skin thrive on clean inputs
4. Protect Sleep Like Peace Medicine š“
Keep a dark, cool, screen-free bedroom
Rise and rest with natural light
Support circadian rhythm with grounding, red light or calming teas
5. Walk Away from Stressful People š¶āāļø
No gossip, gaslighting or abuse
Choose safe, supportive company
Remember: walking away isnāt losing, itās choosing peace
6. Make Your Home Your Sanctuary š”
Declutter & dust ā mould loves dust
Add plants, light & fresh air ā bring nature inside
Surround yourself with calming colours & peaceful cues
7. Daily Rituals for Peace šø
Place your hand on your heart and affirm: āI am love. I am peace. I am safe.ā
Journal, pray or meditate under your āBuddha Berry Peace Treeā
Connect with pets, nature and movementāsmall joys ripple outward
⨠The Result? When toxins and chronic inflammation leave the body, only peace remains. This is how we reverse aging, restore energy and live with presence in a toxic world.
šæ Inner peace = outer peace = world peace šæ
