🌳 The Genetic Trap of the First-Born: PFAS and the Cell Danger Response
It is First Born Friday—a day to remember that you are not “too sensitive” and you are never a burden.
Dear Peaceful Heart,
Come close and take a deep breath. It is First Born Friday and I want to ask you something: Are you actually an introvert or is your beautiful body just intuitively protecting you from a poisonous planet?
For the Sober HSE (Highly Sensitive Entity), life often feels like navigating a winter storm without a coat. We sense the shifting moods, the hidden chemicals and the heavy frequencies of modern life. If you feel exhausted today, please know it is not because you are weak; it is because you are feeling it all.
What is an HSE vs an HSP?
You may have heard the term HSP (Highly Sensitive Person), which usually describes those who need to withdraw to a quiet “cave” to recover.
But as an HSE, you are a “Sensitive Seeker.” Your spirit is wired to engage, lead and connect with the world (the Extrovert) but your body lacks the biological “filters” to keep the toxins out (the Sensitive). Because you are brave enough to be “out there,” you hit Cell Danger Response (CDR) faster.
Sweet soul, you aren’t broken; you are a high-performance athlete running on contaminated fuel.
The First-Born Burden
On this First Born Friday, we acknowledge the weight you’ve carried. As a parentified first-born, you spent your life doing everything right. You were the tiny fixer, the little protector and the one who held the whole family together. But while you were busy taking care of everyone else, your biology was taking notes.
The Mother/Father wound didn’t just leave a mark on your heart; it primed your nervous system for a permanent state of “danger.” When you add the MTHFR and HLDR genes to environmental poisons like PFAS, your “detox bucket” doesn’t just fill—it overflows.
You are not the problem
If you’ve been suffering in silence, feeling like a “burden” because of your brain fog or your “leaky body,” I need you to hear me: There is nothing wrong with you. You aren’t failing at wellness. You are a finely tuned instrument living in a dissonant, contaminated world.
I have released a deep-dive investigation into the 700+ military bases harbouring toxic “Forever Chemicals” (PFAS). This isn’t just news; it is the missing piece of the puzzle for those of us told our physical distress was “just anxiety” or “mental illness.”
Watch the full investigation here:
Let’s protect our own.
We were born to be protectors and now it is time to use that strength to protect ourselves and our community. I’ve included a letter below to send to your local MP.
We are demanding that the NDDN Committee finish the study on military contamination.
It takes two minutes to send but for the first-borns and veterans suffering in silence, it could change everything.

Subject: Urgent Action Needed on Contaminated Military Sites and Health Impacts
Dear [MP’s Name],
I am writing as a concerned citizen regarding the revelations about contaminated soil and PFAS “Forever Chemicals” on military bases across Canada.
Testimony from the NDDN Committee has highlighted alarming rates of MS, Parkinson’s and rare cancers among those living and working near these sites.
I urge you to:
Support the resumption and completion of the NDDN Committee’s contamination study.
Ensure full transparency and public access to environmental data for these sites.
Advocate for medical and financial support for affected veterans and civilian families.
Sincerely,
[Your Name/Address]
How are you really today, dear Heart? 💜
Share your number from 1–10 in the comments. If you feel like a burden this First Born Friday, please know that your presence is a gift to this tribe.
You are seen, you are heard and you are so deeply loved.
Sending loving kindness from Canada’s capital,
Dee
Non-toxic mom to Noah’s non-toxic nest—and yours.

I am sharing this survival map because I had to build it myself. In the fall of 2024, I was in a crisis that no hospital or doctor could solve. Today, I live on a $100 monthly food budget because I remain invisible to a system unable to diagnose HSE biology.
I believe health justice belongs to everyone. This is why I offer my services through Dana or barter—I will never let a price tag stand between a suffering soul and the tools that saved my life. If this helps you, please share it with fellow silent observers suffering in silence. 💜
