“Grieving the Life I Thought I’d Have”
🌙 Trauma Tuesday Tip for your Toolbox: Grief & Emotional Detox
“Grieving the Life I Thought I’d Have”
I used to think grief was only for death.
But trauma taught me to mourn the dreams that died quietly inside me —
The career I couldn’t chase,
The child I never had,
The home that never held me.
And now, at 58,
I grieve the love I haven’t yet found —
A peaceful, sentient soul
To honour this sacred light, energy, and water body
With tenderness, non-attachment, and shared peace
On this karmic journey.
But in those tears… I found freedom.
And through it all — I’ve held onto hope.
Hope carried me through every dark, suicidal night of the soul since the ‘80s.
It still does.
I am still here.
Still healing.
Still light.
Still love.
💧 Spiritual Insight:
Grief is sacred.
Letting it flow makes space for the life you can still grow.
🛁 Tuesday Toolbox Tip:
Try a gentle grief detox:
• Epsom salt + lavender bath
• Journal one thing you miss + one thing you’re proud to have survived
📢 Honour your grief — it means you dared to love, to hope, to dream.
Grief is love with nowhere to go.
💬 What are you grieving that needs space today?
